Reservation Process

1. Book Online
To start, please submit a reservation for both the Kimono rental and photography service (you can make just one reservation with both of them) via the official Yae Kimono website:

Based on the information you provided, we will arrange an experienced professional photographer for you. Our photographers are familiar with the best photo spots in Asakusa and will capture natural, atmospheric shots that highlight your unique charm.

2. Photographer Arrangement & Deposit Payment
Once your reservation is received, we will contact you and send a payment link for the deposit through email.

Important: Your booking will be confirmed only after the deposit is received. The deposit amount is 50% of the total photography fee. After payment is completed, we will secure the photographer’s schedule and finalize the session details for you.

On the Day of the Shoot

1. Please Arrive On Time
Make sure to arrive on time at Yae Kimono Asakusa Store at your reservation time.
Late arrival may impact the photography schedule, so please be punctual.

2. Kimono Rental Process
For details about the kimono rental before your photoshoot, please refer to the "Kimono Rental Process" page on our website.
Our staff will assist you from selecting your kimono to hair styling,  to ensure you’re photo-ready.

3. Photography Overview & Explanation
All customers with a photography reservation will receive a guide document in advance.
On the day of your shoot, our staff will also explain the schedule, important points, and the time needed in detail.

Photo Session Scheduling & Communication

Scheduled by Us
Based on the photographer’s availability, we will arrange the starting time of your photo session.
Your photographer will meet you at the store and guide you to photo spots around Asakusa.
If you have a preferred time for your session, please let us know in advance when making your reservation. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Photo Spots & Custom Requests

Depending on the weather and lighting conditions on the day, your photographer will guide you to popular and photogenic locations such as Kaminarimon, Nakamise Street, and the Sumida River.
If you have any specific place you'd like to visit or particular shooting style in mind, please inform us in advance. We’ll work with the photographer to help bringing your vision to life.

Posing & Communication During the Shoot

Our photographers will guide you through poses and expressions, so even first-time participants can feel at ease.
If you have any ideas or requests during the shoot, feel free to share them with your photographer.
